Tragic Death of Ukrainian Crypto Influencer Konstantin Galich Amid Market Collapse Raises Concerns Over Pressures in Cryptocurrency Trading

Ukrainian crypto influencer Konstantin Galich, widely known as Kostya Kudo, was found dead at the age of 32 inside his Lamborghini Urus in Kyiv’s Obolonskyi district. Authorities reported discovering a gunshot wound and a firearm registered to Galich at the scene, leading investigators to treat the case as a suspected suicide.

Galich’s death occurred during one of the most dramatic downturns in crypto history. The market collapse was set off after the United States announced harsh new tariffs on Chinese imports and imposed strict export controls on software, triggering panic among investors and massive sell-offs across digital assets. Over $19 billion was wiped out in leveraged crypto positions, with more than 1.6 million trading accounts being liquidated. Bitcoin and Ethereum experienced steep declines, with Bitcoin falling to around $111,500 and Ethereum dropping to $3,778.

Family members revealed that Galich had expressed deep distress over financial losses before his death, sending a farewell message to relatives. News of his passing shocked the crypto trading community, where Galich had built a sizable following as a co-founder of the Cryptology Key trading academy and a prominent market commentator. The incident has fueled speculation and debate about the immense pressure faced by public figures in the volatile world of cryptocurrency trading, especially during major crashes that can erase fortunes in a matter of hours.
